In order to slow the spread of COVID-19, and following the recent suspensions of operations at many downhill ski resorts, the Colorado Department of Transportation is suspending Snowstang service for the remainder of the season. Snowstang serves Loveland Ski Area, Arapahoe Basin and Steamboat Springs. Passengers will be refunded for tickets for upcoming travel dates.
Snowstang was originally scheduled to operate through Sunday, April 19, 2020. CDOT will now focus on preparations for the 2020/2021 Snowstang season.
CDOT would like to thank the Loveland Ski Area, A-Basin, Steamboat Resort, Howelsen Hill in Steamboat Springs and all the riders who used Snowstang during its inaugural season.
